Kreuzberg cafes

Betahaus Café: Good working environment, big, many people there to work but very chaotic too. Some days you will be kicked out around 6pm since they host meetups. Moritzplatz – Kreuzberg http://www.betahaus.com/berlin/

Milch und Zucker: Half working people, half mostly bar. But nice mood, comfortable seats and good socket service. Not so chaotic. There are two spots – in Kreuzberg and in FHain http://www.milchundzucker.eu/en/

Morena: Free wifi, relaxed, usually a few people with laptops, you can also sit outside in the summer. Wiener Strasse 60 http://morena-berlin.com

Mitte

St Oberholz: Usually packed go early to get a place, a bit pricey but with nice coffee/food and internet Rosenthaler Platz http://www.sanktoberholz.de/

Oslo Cafe
(for bottomless filters) is on Invalidenstr, 2 minute walk from Naturkunde Museum. Great guys, Scottish accents (if that’s what you’re into) and they have a thing called Bottomless Filter… 2.50 and you can have as many refills from the Batch Brew as you want!

Prenzlauerberg cafes

Spreegold: Sometimes gets a bit busy, not all the tables have sockets. Stargarder Str. (Prenzlauerberg) http://www.spreegold.com/en/

Melis Coffee: Open until around midnight (there are two Melis Coffee’s in Prenzlauerberg.). It’s crazy cheap, not very noisy, has decent WiFi and they’re used to lots of geeks working from there.

Friedrichshain

Lindsays cafe: Cafe attached to Schalfemeile hostel. Decent WiFi. Open from 8am until midnight 7 days a week. Staff don’t seem to mind people lingering around all day, so long as you buy a meal and/or drink sporadically. Laptops are super common here, as travellers are using it as the common room for the hostel. Location is the corner of Oderstraße and Weichselstraße in Friedrichshain.

Herman Schulz cafe: Very relaxed cafe near Frankfurter allee. Open from 11am until midnight 7 days a week. The WiFi requires logging in every 30 minutes to use it. Serves good soups, bagels and quiche. Some evenings are busy due to gigs and film nights.

Neukölln

Cafe Dritter Raum: Open from 8am every day.
